We would like to Thank our Swedish Ambassador Marina Berg for opening The Swedish Residence for us Nordic Club. It was a very interesting morning with discussions on topics of current and long term interest for Nordics living in Jakarta.
It’s time to have some fun where all family members can join in.
Nordic Club Jakarta will reserve one of the Huts at Pondok Indah Water Park. We meet up at 10:00 am inside the waterpark, by the reserved hut, for some great water play and later on we finish off with a joint lunch. A table (20 pax) at Restaurant Monolog is booked for joint lunch at 1:00pm. A separate WhatsApp group will be created for those who sign up for the activity. Sign up by replying by e-mail or WhatsApp. Save the date.

It was great to be together again! Our maskot Alvar was occupied with finding nemo and caressing the cats.
Today’s CM was in Jakarta Selatan hosted by Wilma. We were glad to have Mrs. Ingrid van der Mark with us so we could learn about her foundation. She founded Yayasan Lestari Sayang Anak on 18th April 2009 and it means “Forever loving children”. It is a non-profit organization and a small-scaled orphanage. It’s structure allows high quality care and individual attention for each child. For more information: http://www.lestarisayanganak.org
Catching-up is to be continued on the 21st of February….. stay tune
Our last coffee morning of 2019 was at Koi Kemang. We were happy to see and get to know new members… Welcome!!
Dr. Steven Graaff from Good Practice gave us good tips how to stay healthy in Jakarta. Most important was to have an insight of condition when it comes to medical care and where to turn when needed. We have the list of recommended medical care around Jakarta. (Let us know if you are interested in which we can send to everybody via mail.) It was great to learn each others experiences of medical care in Indonesia in which gave all of us a good thought to ask more questions to achieve better understanding when seeing a doctor.
Great mixture of food on the table from spring-rolls to cinnamon roll. Our maskot Alvar was delighted when applauses happened 🙂
We all wish you a Merry Christmas and a Fabulous New Year with full of joy and laughter with your love ones!!!
